2024-01-26 00:53:14 +0000 UTCthanks for the chapter, with religion getting out of hand how is Aegon planning on addressing the potential danger it poses? the solution that comes to mind is to integrate the religion into the existing government body and set clear boundaries and duties that the religion has authority over and must adhere to like for example ceremonies and unorthodox cases that involves magic. Combining that with the scholars and you'll get a department that focuses on hunting/containing hazardous magic phenomenon or creature (I just really want to see demon hunting priests, lol) by setting clear rules it would ensure that if they overstretch their authority it would get noticed by both the common folks and the government so minimal chance of inciting up the populace into doing something drastic or stupid it might also be a good idea to set high standards on entering said department so there would only be priests that are highly competent and have great sense of duty. The department would also be funded by the government so no chance of it misusing funds procured through charity and the department would operate semi autonomously but reports to the government/the one with the greatest authority. Having martial priests would be really interesting as well lol.

For pairings I think he should let his eldest marry the celtigar girl to get an ally in westros who was loyal to mc before he left. Then a stark girl for one of the boys to get the magic blood they have in his family. Just my opinion but it’s your choice of who marrys who. Also quick question are we going to get a pov of the Velyarons to see how the react to what the mc is doing be interesting to see what they think of Aegon actions,
