boxcast episode 11

Comments

I came up with this thought yesterday as I saw some of Jinny's ski trip. I think it would help to have like an outline in the description of just some interesting scenes changes or maybe some quick description of stories you two tell. For instance: @1:15 Jinny starts her drive towards the resort @30:15 Jinny talks about the time she broke her bone. Even if you two warn against parasocialism when I watch you two its still like the audience being involved in your life. In some episodes you two can bring up things that happened in the past and maybe it could help new people catch up and not feel like they have to search for someone new to invest time in. I have seen before a streamer have this really great mod that could pull past episode links into chat so the audience could reference and understand what the streamer was talking about when she talked about something in the past. I looked online and it turns out maybe if by doing this your catalogs might be easier to find. Filter by type: [search term], channel [search term], video [search term], movie When I get time I'll actually try it out see if makes difference. Doing this just takes time. I didn't do this before because well it kind of seemed like you didn't care. But i'll try it. I'm curious about it. What I hope to accomplish is just some way to make viewers feel easier about FOMO.

AI Art
Right now on the news they are talking about it a lot because there were spamming Taylor Swift deepfakes on twitter. They are talking about introducing legislation to stop it.
What are your views on it?
What would happen if you saw your image on ai art?
I recently learned just about all photo editing software will be integrating ai imaging. It helps when you get photos with low resolution. When you need to add or replace things but can’t find anything in stock photos or can’t afford stock photos.
It would be bad for models they might have a hard time finding work if ai can just generate near photo realistic people.
Something that I read was companies are interested in making ai generated 3D vloggers or streamers too.
Also artists in general are nervous about it too. Right now ai art has a certain look but in the future maybe it can be more sophisticated and harder to tell apart from original works.
Is it different if the victim is a male?
Would you know if women would seem interested in these type of images?
What if it gets so simple to use that everyone starts using it? Would it become normalized?
https://abcnews.go.com/US/cheerleaders-mom-created-deepfake-videos-allegedly-harass-daughters/story?id=76437596
For example, you could be sitting down on the bus then some stranger takes a quick picture of you without permission. Then they upload on an app and then it produces a whole bunch of deepfakes.
Is that type of scenario inevitable? Can it be stopped?

Two things i was going to bring up but I chose to throw in trash.
What constantly comes up is internet connectivity.
I had an idea to just buy the mobile starlink. The home version is about $600+ and the mobile one is about $2000+. When you learn about how it works you could understand why the big jump in price.
What I had in mind is to use my ecoflow battery with ac converter which could last more than 4 hours. With that battery I got a mobile ac unit to work for 8 hrs. With some sort of ALICE backpack I could get at military surplus store I would make something that could hold equipment and test it out. Now since I had been planning to buy an RV whenever I can save enough money buying the starlink would not be an expense i would not have made anyways. And its always nice to have a backup internet connection at home or in remote places. That mobile ac is a back up in case my home ac ever stops working. The starlink kit comes with a mesh wifi router its default power supply would come from ac but I might have seen some websites that give instructions on converting it to dc. On non peak hours it can be sluggish but it would be way better than the 5G. The 5G actually has not even been turned on yet according to a commercial I saw. The 5G scares pilots as its waves are too close to the waves they use to judge distance from the ground the plane is. What the telecom companies said is that they would turn it down low near airports. Okay the other thing was I looking at taxes for llc and since I know nothing about your businesses how they operate I just tried to read what I could. So thought most likely place would be Delaware. With that state theres still lots to think of including maybe not only paying taxes & annnual fees having a company in the United States but also still possibly having to pay more taxes in South Korea. I think there would be no double taxation. So do nothing with what I wrote I’ll let you know if the starlink idea worked or not.

1989: The year Koreans started traveling abroad https://www.koreaherald.com/view.php?ud=20230621000582

1. Should SK add any age rules to traveling?
2. In this article they mentioned changing the work week to 5 days helped increase travel. Do you feel things could be better with a 4 day work week?
3. “Young and adventurous, this new breed of travelers didn’t mind sleeping on overnight trains and subsisting on a baguette loaf for a meal, trying to explore the world as much as possible on a tight budget.” Could this describe you? 4. Do any older people around you have a negative opinion about traveling abroad? 5. Are there any travel streamers you feel that don’t display good character and make SK look bad? 6. Are there any things you feel SK travelers should not do or improve on when in another country? 7. Are there any places your government says you can’t go and why?

“he Korean Criminal Code does not provide a specific definition of “gambling”, the Korean Supreme Court has defined “gambling” as an act of achieving monetary gain or loss through the wager of property on a game or activity based on chance”
https://practiceguides.chambers.com/practice-guides/gaming-law-2023/south-korea On the topic of gambling. Would a person get in trouble if a possible prize is winnable without using money such as filling out a form or giving out an email address. No money would be involved unless there is a win. Whatever the prize is it may take some money to move it back to SK. So money wouldn’t be spent to get the prize but it would be spent if there is a prize won.

annyeonghaseyo I thought it would be obvious. I was just kidding about the podcast dedicated to me thing. hmmm the best jokes are the ones that need to be explained AN ENTIRE PODCAST DEDICATED TO MEEEEE!!!!!
 Thanks Tyongeee and Jinny
I’ve been on ABC and MTVTres but now that two famous streamers made an entire podcast about me makes me feel like a superstar ⭐️ :D @20:25 I think about the couples that married too soon because the chemistry got so steamy but later on you'd hear about them having problems and their kids suffer from them fighting.
And it does no good for the community if they are needing welfare. Getting out of poverty is hard. I can feel stable financially but will still have that mindset of being poor. Like I would avoid paying for something big even if it could add value to my life or help me be better. It's sort of like a cage where you don’t realize you can just slip out through the bars. Its not until recent years that I learned there's just more things you could do to gain wealth other than just saving up. @28:49 😆 seems sort of like you forgot how to swear @33:28 reaction wasn’t good enough, thats funny 😆 maybe say back like give me an example @33:50 yeah, f-them, they’re using money as a form of control @34:29 idk its like 50/50 maybe because being drunk people do stupid things. Its been so long since I’ve drunk enough to be drunk. yea i think I would like to hide the wallet from myself or if I think I would get so drunk I might black out and someone would steal it from me. I don’t know how I feel about it because its bad in that instance that I couldn’t control myself but maybe if I were honest with the same situation I’d be thankful for the refund but let her keep the fees or have part of it. That was nice I mean because she doesn’t need to give it back. Well, I think a good policy would be to give it back. There could be some kind of argument over wire fraud even if he makes up a case or some sort of reason he didn’t get what he asked for. So in conclusion Jinny did right. It keeps her ethically on the right side, the way she conducts her business. @38:55 This is why I wonder why even have a show that interacts with the audience. The star can’t control the audience while they’re on live trying to do something and the platform twitch/kick & maybe YouTube too requires some sort of engagement for them to figure out what to pay. What I feel is that a person is going to get close to someone however they communicate (communication/engagement) depending on how much they see them. If they see or interact with a person enough, there’s some sort of pattern that develops in their brain, and like the phrase “you are the sum of the 5 people you hang out with the most” they absorb part of your personality or adjust their personality to adapt to you. To make this thought short it gets personal because the platform forces the audiences to be that way and sometimes some streamers encourage loyalty by having them feel pity, sexual attraction, or another is to make them feel like they are part of a team to do some sort of mission like end poverty, stop pollution, stop crime, stop corruption etc… I could go on and on but to me if it weren’t for the audience having to comment there would be no problem, maybe. Like, tell me if things were to be different if you had reruns. or how they are different with reruns. good/bad same same would you even care to moderate reruns @40:28 I haven’t seen every show so I say this based on the few times I watch live. For both of you its like part of the way the audience acts is a little bit like they treat you two like punching bags but I say this without a way to say it in a lighter way. Its more like a poke sort of than a punch. This is very complicated to describe but I’m not saying they are being malicious on purpose. Its friendly. @47:08 Wait a minute. I watch silent travel channels. It's just some person who walks though maybe markets or country and its very popular. This one I’m looking at right now is called Sam And Victor 9 days in Fukuoka 397k views. Maybe on twitch it would be boring because they are probably mostly teens but these videos are great to have in the background. Your audience majority may be young but maybe you can edit something together from those 12hr vods. With Tyongeee when she went to Europe i watched her walk in Italy while I was on the elliptical. Bikes and other exercise equipment have that now. Videos that match with your exercising. There is some value for older people in just calm videos that are just enjoyable to watch no story, nothing to think about.
I want to add that its better that you two are cute because if it was like some woman with tight leggings and big breasts that I was seeing I would too nervous thinking everyone thinks I’m watching porn while exercising at the gym, even though I think people just mind their own business most of the time. I even watched some offensive cartoon show one time and didn’t know my earphones weren’t working until an hour later. No one said anything to me even when there were people close by. Those air pods something about that sound they produce is deceptive. @48:42 At this point I think an average guy will think ‘well sheet’ so many ways I can f-up and be annoying. Why I don’t just be silent. Give me an example of the best way to chat or comment. @ I have alt accounts but its not to troll. It is more like to keep things separate. Or like in different categories. @55:45 At this point I was wondering it's been years of streaming. Would evolving their presentation for an older audience be better?
On YouTube I saw a while ago (I can’t remember the name) they made a very good point about how things have changed. People could get away with making shitty garage band-sounding music and make millions of views back in 2006. Now you can’t do that. The newer generation of creators has stepped it up where the production or show has to be professional as if it were shot in the studio. (I’m paraphrasing) So they were saying this to explain that if a creator doesn’t evolve they could end up looking stagnant. One example like Fousey, some videos I saw said that he went nuts because his views kept going down and after always trying to increase crazy weird things into shows. He got arrested after making a false emergency call. If you think about what he was doing to get attention like using the n-word, taking advantage of a drunk woman and trying to fight strangers on live. Being over 30 trying please people younger than him just doesn’t seem right. Its like if you were his friend you would have told him to grow up and stop acting like a fool. I’m talking in general because over on kick they have way worse people like jack doherty, neon, and many others and they are doing these crazy rude annoying tactics to get views. I think about this and I sort of start to get this feeling that I’m just to old. Too old for twitch and this type of entertainment. 58:50 saying hi or bye is no longer good uh I did say bye but I didn’t wait for like a reply and also like could be showing I’m online but in reality I could be in the kitchen making food. I don’t how much to write or what twitch is looking for for a creator to look like they have an engaged audience. If creators didn’t need an active chat, then I would just watch. @1:03:00 At this point I kind of look at you Tyongeee and picture you as a bunny (little sleepy) @1:10:15 I feel right here its hard to grasp the left or right game because I think it would help if we have real examples. I know you can’t show that. Recently I saw the famous streamer in an interview. It's been known that she uses this expensive filter to make herself look good. I checked it out and yes she uses it and I could see her skin blurred. There's nothing wrong with it I mean you know check out Chinese streamers where the girls could actually be guys. I saw a little bit of it glitch and she doesn’t really need it. In this interview she has a completely different face. Its something about her nose. She went further to change it. Like I wrote before her brand is her face she looks very young so I’m just curious about if anyone would say anything to her. The reason this type of thing interests me is that I edit photos.
When you edit a person’s face it's very interesting how just changing the lighting or moving the cheekbones, just millimeters makes a huge difference. This difference in the way she looked I would have never done. never because it looks too different. She’s too well known. Maybe she did it herself. I feel if she had somebody else do it they wouldn’t have gone that far. So for a topic if there's enough to talk about maybe you two could talk about it. Whether you’d use it? Would you become dependent on it?
Both of you look alright to me. I'll add more tomorrow there were other things but have to sleep and can't remember
