On A Plain by Nirvana (Guitar Cover #297)

The Tab-On Screen version is now on YouTube  exclusively for Patreon supporters

The tab and presets are attached as usual - but over 2024 I will only be making the downloadable tabs available through Musicnotes and/or MyMusicSheet. You’ll start to see the links in the Youtube video descriptions. By putting the tabs on Musicnotes and/or MyMusicSheet it ensures the copyright owner gets the benefit - and it makes sure I don’t get into any trouble! As a Patreon supporter you will always get early access to Tab on Screen videos - which means around 150 exclusive videos - plus access to the presets etc on the website. And importantly, you will have the warm feeling of knowing that you are keeping the channel alive and growing. Without your support (…and my wife’s patience!) - nothing happens!!

So - for this song - Patreon supporters can access the downloadable tabs (GuitarPro and pdf) plus the presets (Amplitube and screenshots) here on sparkyguitar.com and in the attached zip file.

Thank you for answering! I dug deeper and I *think* I can hear that high D there? Unless Kurt was going full Biffy/Foals with those full barre Drop D chords (like 555x3x) to get the D, that's the only way I can see it working. (Funnily enough, your Everlong reupload is making me go down a very similar rabbit hole hahaha)

Great question. I used the multitrack stems - with the isolated guitar …and I was convinced that you can hear that high D ringing so I included it. He didn’t do that live - I do t think. But there is a good chance it was on the recording.

Oh, that's a beautiful Jag! Love this one, I'm interested on how you decided on using that dropped high-E tuning. I reckon that makes that high D in the bridge way easier to play but is there any source or was that good investigative skills via live footage/isolated tracks? Great work! :)
