2023-03-19 09:51:57 +0000 UTCHey Ben. It's a perfectly sensible question. I tried to follow the same strumming pattern as Charles. For the verse you are correct that there are 2 (slow) downstrokes - then 4 quick up and down strokes... and then the descending G# etc. You can see that my left hand doesn't release any pressure on the strings. I'm just leaving out some upstrokes. For the chorus Charles just plays alternating (fast) down and up. I tabbed it with the first upstroke left out but you can play it either way. He really does play it full on - like a train! Hope that helps!
