We're back with the final, and we don't like it, episode of Alien Earth. What a sick ass ride this one was!
As we've come to really believe, this show coulda landed a 10/10 for us with about two more episodes to fully flesh out some of the concepts and melodrama, but we're still sitting pretty on an EXCELLENT and intriguing start to this particular dive into the Alien mythos!
We are QUITE satisfied with most of the threads we got wrapped up or atleast put on hold till next season!
Would still love some Kirsch backstory but Mr. O himself has been such a delight to watch, we're willing to wait for S2.
Lovely to see Nibs still alive and kicking and TAKING NAMES!
And we're just one big happy fam fam over here with the Lost Boys and the Xenos teaming up! Now with a lil' cute bb bruv!
And we finally got the PLANT CREATURE REVEAL! And while, we like it, it could have prolly been placed to take out a bigger character or been more gruesome!
Also, over Eye-leen and get fucked Arthur. ARLEEN has entered the chat!

2025-09-26 01:21:32 +0000 UTCWhen I was watching the first like 15 minutes I kept thinking I missed an episode. It felt like a weird time jump but like a small time jump. And I think they NEEDED a couple more episodes to really sell that Wendy was angry and wanted to revolt. Or like give us a couple of more reasons why she would. My thought is that they actually did have a couple of episodes planned to flesh out the story more but the budget didn't allow it. Plus it being a first season and all. Overall an awesome show though! Oh and the Peter Pan stuff was laid on a little thick. It was just short of the Noah Hawley appearing on screen and being like "LOOK, IT'S LIKE PETER PAN. DON'T YOU SEE?" Still a great way to structure the story though. Those are two minor things that I would want but they definitely don't hurt the show enough to ruin it. Loved the first season!
