It's a video about identity politics and why drama so often rears its head, and it's about a few examples where the discourse has blown up. And I wanted to talk about why that is.

Just watched it, and I like the analysis and takes that you've put forward here. I've been on the side of Contra for a long time, or rather I've been taken with Sarah Zedig's "In Defense of The Aesthetic" which is to say that Wynn is an artist and is allowed to make art, even if folks find that art to be problematic. Having more trans people making more content would be fantastic, plus there has to be a way for all of us pushed out of academia to somehow make a living hah *stares in existential crisis*
