A little announcement

 As everyone knows, right now things are kind of hectic due to the corona virus and quarantine. The developers of God Complex are people too, and quarantine has had highly varied affects on the lot of us. This check in is going to explain the effects on our ability to work, what it means for the current update, and how that's going to affect things going forward.

 -------------------------------------------The Developers-------------------------------------- 

God Complex has four developers, and at present, one of them (aka me, Elise) was taking an exclusively managerial role as a break. I'll be totally honest, this is a critical semester for me, so I hadn't planned to work on God Complex for an update or two. However, thanks to quarantine, my academics have surprisingly loosened, and I have more free time. I will likely come out of my break quickly and continue to make content soon.  Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for others. Salamoun and Devora's life situations remain more or less unchanged, but Annaya is now quarantined with her family, which completely negates her ability to work on erotica for the time being. Until further notice, she will be inactive.

------------------------------------------The Update----------------------------------------- 

Annaya's temporary departure comes at an awkward time. As this update covers Sirnes Port, she plays a critical role, as her developer character was planned to feature in a large and dynamic quest line. A quest line so grand that it honestly accounts for half the update. As she cannot finish writing it, and it would be improper for anyone else to write content she specifically designed for her, Chapter 1 Finale 2 is dead in the water (hah, get it, because it's a port full of mermaids)  I want it on record that I will not accept any harassment directed towards her for this result. The world is fucking chaos right now, and her circumstances are genuinely beyond her control. The update being cancelled should not be treated any differently from the cancellation of well... almost everything these days. 

-----------------------------------------The New Plan---------------------------------------- 

We will carry on, though we will have to make a new update from scratch. Chapter 1 Finale 2 is effectively paused, and the work we've done on it will not go to waste. However, we can't continue it until much later, so instead of waiting, we will simply start working on the next update we were planning to make, The Desert Update 2, without Annaya's assistance.  This will take a while. We are starting to work on this new update from basically scratch, so the gap between the last update and the next one is going to be pretty damn big. Please be patient, we'll do our absolute best to make it happen in a timely manner. Thank you for your time. A more detailed report on exactly what this Update will entail will be provided at a later date, but at the very least, we can confirm that a new follower will be available. We may reveal her in a teaser soon. 

 There will be new stuff in Sirnes as the town itself is made and will have new content, just don't expect any real side quests or bigger events, there's smaller things like inn girl and new shops.
