Progress on v0.2, New Developer, and a Very Special Episode

  Hello again, internet. How are you? Your hair looks nice today.   

1. We're proceeding on the new update.    

Update v0.2 (which we don't have a snappy name for yet and would appreciate your input) is going to round out some gameplay, fix bugs, add a new area (the park), and introduce another Futa to romance, Suni Lambsbridge.  (Her path may or may not be actually done by the time we release it. However, it will certainly contain surprises.)   

2. We received a complaint that our game is transphobic.   

We are very surprised by this.   

I have a lot of thoughts about this—not the least of which is that our brand of erotic-mind-control futanari really doesn't map onto real-world transsexuality or the experience of being transgender.    

If being trans gave you terrifying superpowers, uh...we probably wouldn't be having this kerfuffle about the bathrooms, would we? We would all have different priorities.  

But let us say, in brief:    

-Given that the player character is living in an oppressive dystopia where he's threatened and abused at every turn because of his gender...dude, we're teaching empathy and tolerance.   

-Our game is centered around a fictional third gender of people that we, and all of our community members at reddit.com/r/futadomworld, adore. The lewd games market was starved for futa content, and we saw a hole that needed filling. 

So, in conclusion, I don't understand this complaint and have probably overreacted to a troll.

3. Trialing new developers  

As our game grows, the bottleneck keeps shifting. Sometimes it's art, sometimes it's code...occasionally it's money, with which to buy those things.    

Right now, our bottleneck seems to be management, and to that end, we're shifting team member Doodles into more of an explicit Project Manager role, and contracting a new dev to handle most of the coding.  (Doodles was already basically our project manager, but now we don't expect him to do that and also all of the coding. And handle communications. Honestly, the dude works tons.)    

With any luck, this will make updates come out faster and less buggy.   

Anyway.    

No official release date for v0.2 yet (though I'd be surprised if it took more than two months or so). If you think you've got a great name for 0.2 (which is about Hipster futa, parks, the gym, and a couple more things), please let us know in the comments.
