Technical difficulties
Added 2024-03-07 01:03:57 +0000 UTCToday, I recorded a couple of videos - one for my Galactic Mavericks here on Patreon and two others for future YouTube uploads.When I went to open the app that I usually use to record, there was a new icon that I accidentally clicked on, which automatically zoomed in the video screen at least two times. I attempted to change it back to the wide screen mode, but couldn’t find anywhere to do that. It actually showed that it was already in the widescreen mode. So I attempted to record a video to test it out. Unfortunately, it froze the video with an image, and only recorded the audio.
My solution was to open Google Chrome and record it in that browser instead. I successfully recorded the videos that I needed to, however, once I went to download them, they would not download. It just kept telling me that the process may take a while. I was attempting to download one of the videos for over an hour.
I was able to open up a chat with someone who works at the app, but she’s slow to respond to my responses. She just informed me that I would need to upload my videos before downloading them, which I did not have to do on the other browser. However, once I tried to upload the video, it told me that the video cannot exceed nine minutes.
Hopefully, this technicality doesn’t cause me to lose the three videos that I created today!
