Devlog #2 – Quest Menu Update

This devlog is all about the new and improved quest log. I’ve been working on making it both easier to use and nicer to look at. Here’s what’s new:
✨ Fresh Look

The quest log now has a cleaner, more relaxed design, making it much easier on the eyes. You can quickly see all your quests and their current status:
Unlocked → The quest is ready to play.
Pending → You still need to complete another quest or requirement before this one becomes available.
In Progress → You’ve triggered this quest and can keep track of it while you play.
Done → Completed quests are clearly marked.
Failed → Yes, you can fail quests. Don’t worry, though—I’ll use this sparingly so it won’t feel punishing or make you miss out too much content.
🕵️ Hint System

Before, hints were just tucked into parentheses in the quest description. It worked, but let’s be honest—it didn’t look great.
Now, each quest has a dedicated hint button you can click if you want a little guidance. This keeps the log clean while still giving you the option to get clues when you need them.
📖 What This Means for Chapter 2
With this update, the quest system is now much more polished, organized, and player-friendly. You’ll have a clearer overview of what you’re doing, what’s coming up, and how to approach the story.
