Devlog #1 – Skill Tree Rework + Choices

This update is all about the future of the skill tree system and how choices will play a bigger role in shaping your playthrough. Here’s what’s new:
🌟 New Addition: Level & Power Points

You’ll now see a level bar that fills up as you earn XP. Every time it hits 100 XP, you’ll gain 1 Power Point. These points let you customize your character’s playstyle, opening up new rewards, unique approaches to challenges, and even different outcomes in the story.
📈 How to Gain XP

Earning XP will feel natural as you play. You’ll gain it through:
Mini-games
Main quests
Optional quests
Using skill checks in dialogue and choices
🎭 Choices in Chapter 2

Choices are going to shine even more in Chapter 2. Skills you’ve built will affect your options—from serious, story-changing decisions to fun and surprising interactions.
On top of that, I’ve reworked the look and style of the choice system itself. The new design makes decisions feel deeper, clearer, and more immersive, so it’s not just what you choose, but how the game presents those choices that adds to the experience.
I’ve taken your feedback to heart, and I’m focusing on making the choices feel impactful, rewarding, and entertaining.
