June Update

Hello everyone! Here's another quick look into what I'm working on at the moment, and what you can expect in the next few months

• As some of you might have seen from a previous post, I'm working on a big lore post detailing the Sanctified Orders of the Inquisition. This will be a hyperlinked PDF with lots of footnotes, with most of the information already available in the Encyclopaedia Elyden. for your perusal. I've been wanting to write this up for a long time now, and Am glad it's almost finished. Looking forward you to sharing it with you all once its done!

• I have more maps from the Ammashi peninsula coming up. The idea is to do with this region what I did with the Sea of Orrida, that is make a cool regional map once all the nation/state maps are done. I still have a bunch to make and you'll be seeing the first one of these next week (well, acolytes will, at least - everyone else gets to see it in low-res a week later).

• I'm also planning a few thematic maps as well, one showing the history of the northern Sammaean coast prior to the conquests of Korachan, and another one detailing the events of the War of Sundering - the tumultuous event that saw the Korachani empire sundered in two. Up until now this event was just a throwaway paragraph in the Encyclopaedia saying that half the empire fractured in 3705 RM. wow, great worldbuilding eh :) So I'm starting to make a timeline of the war so that I can make a big 3-page-spread (similar size to my river Shibboleth map showing all military movements and notable events in the war. I'm looking forward to making this one as I LOVE these types of maps and have wanted to make one for ages. Both of these maps are expanding on significant events in the history of the Inner Sea that I've never thought much about, and its really interesting going back and rereading notes that I created almost 20-years ago and updating them! My memory is terrible so in many cases I read details and think to myself that's so cool! I wish I had thought of that, then realise I'm reading lore that I wrote ages ago! Weird feeling. Below as a screenshot of a very WIP timeline. and the top of the page also has a very rough sketch map showing troop movements and some events (very out of context). I'll add to this as I read old notes and add new events and will then trace over it in on the final map.
