Atlas Elyden #7 - Laaskha (High-res)

It was pointed out that there was not a high-res post for this map, so here it is :)

Also, here's a fact box for the small nation of Chandos, in the middle of the map:

Thanks a million Nate, appreciate the new details and clarifications! One small typo, boides to bodies in the Chandos fact box. That flag is wicked!

hi there :) some nice questions here: - Chandos (the bordered region within the area of the Ehrandra Massiff) is an independent region. The reason its not greyed out here is because it appears on the map in its entirety. originally only one nation or region would be 'highlighted' on the page, but later on I decided to highlight all nations that were visible in their entirety. I'll actually add a separate cartouche in the top right naming Chandos to make this more clear. - Chandos is the capital of Chandos (the region is too small to include a white text large name for it). The capital of Laaskha is Baayn, on the far N - E along the coast. - in this case its a waterfall. The same symbol is used to show dams / waterfalls. generally there would be a lake upstream if it was a dam, though. - not much lore on that region I'm afraid. Atraan is an ancient ruin, thought to date back to an ancient nation from 4,000+ years ago. I've updated the base image to include the new cartouche, and a label for the waterfall, to make it clearer what it is. I also added a history box for chandos as I happened to have finished that just last week Thanks! Please feel free to ask more questions about this and other maps :)

Hi Nate, first post here. Lovely work all around! For whatever reason I've become intrigued by Laaskha, particularly the vicinity of Chandos and down to Asahur. A few questions: * Why is the Ehrandea Mastiff separate from the rest of Laaskha? I noticed in the map from 2016 that this area was gray, implying it wasn't part of Laaskha, but now it seems to be? On a related note, is Chandos the capital of Laaskha or just the limited region? * Is that a dam to the northwest of Chranda? * Do you have any story about the ruins of Atraan where the Llortha meets the Chandos? It feels like there's so many stories just looking at these maps, and as I search the posts I'm not finding anything for this area particularly. To be honest that's some of the attraction - a chance to fill the blanks. Edit: I keep swapping the k and s, turning Laaskha to Laaksha, woops
