What type of maps would you like to see in the Atlas?

I'm thinking of some different types of maps I can make for the atlas and was wondering what you'd all like to see, keeping to the same atlas style I've been making.
Some things I have in mind are:
- political maps
- trade maps
- religious maps
- colonial maps
Anything else I can add to this?

Yes! I do intend on showing ocean currents in a map, as well as temperature and raingall sometime - I'm actually getting back into global worldbuilding and this fits in perfectly. The thing with those maps is they require a lot of technical work behind the scenes to get done so take longer to make than the normal maps, so to keep up the rate of 1 map every 4-weeks I need to work to work on multiple maps at once. I'll add it to the short list. I do intent on making a map showing wildlife, but need to figure out the logistics of showing all those labels on a world map in A3 size. Maybe divide the world into continents over multiple 2-page spreads.

2019-08-14 03:58:52 +0000 UTCI would like to see a world map with tectonic plates delineated. I know I mentioned this in another comment, but anyway. I also would like to see a map of the Inner Sea region with prevailing Tradewinds and currents marked. I use the Inner Sea for my D&D campaign, and we do all our water transport under sail. Finally, I think it would be a huge miss not to make some maps that have to do with the NATURAL history and geography of the world. Monoceros migration patterns?

2019-08-14 03:43:39 +0000 UTCFunny you should mention that. Earlier on today I was listening to the Artifexian podcast (very cool resource for anyone interested in worldbuilding) and came across this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/World-Atlas-Language-Structures/dp/0199255911/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=atlas+of+language+structures&qid=1565715057&s=shoes&sr=8-1 An atlas of languages...a bit out of my budget at $350 though :o unfortunately conlanging is my Achilles heel and I am utterly useless at it. something similar that I've been thinking of is ethicities, which is something that I've touched when writing histories of certain nations. I like how the ethnicities I've come up with really transcend borders. perhaps that's one to add to the shortlist.
