Encyclopaedia Elyden - Bladder Eel facts

The attached image is from the taxonomical section of the Encyclopaedia Elyden and is a continuation of the recent series I started.

This one features a more fictional example to what I've posted so fer - the so-called bladder eel, which glides through the air in regions where the Firmament holds sway.

Please let me know what you think!

Thanks :)

Seeing repeated explanations that 'mucus' is only ever the noun, and 'mucous' is only ever the adjective. It took me three readings before I clicked why what you wrote felt vaguely wrong to me. Could just be a regional thing (e.g. UK / US / CA / AU variations).

Thanks - I've updated the master document. 1 - added 'open' 2 - nothing wrong here - the second quote continues to say that they are also common in skylands - basically the floating mountains of pandora. 3 - updated to anchoring 4 - i looked this up before writing it and it seems as though they're interchangeable. 5 - changed to determined.

Proofreading: 1. "allowing them to up to 120°" 2. "rocky environs" vs "common in wetlands" 3. "ancoring" 4. mucus, or mucous? 5. "stubborn trainers" .. or "determined trainers" (vs stubborn eels)?

Very cool. Pity they are mostly solitary, I'd like to imaging great flocks washing down a mountainside.
