About my Max Shading

I want to have your guys opinion on my max shading specifically my Fur. The examples are shown below with and without fur.
And I want to know your opinion if my max shade is better with or without the fur. Cause it can be tedious and sometimes ruined the art or make it ugly. And I hear the term 'Less is more' and I feel it with my drawings to where I shouldn't go over the top with the fur.
So I'll like your opinion! Should I continue with the fur?

2024-05-02 18:30:01 +0000 UTCI like the extra fur in my opinion but there are some species that don't need extra fur. It all depends on the species and if the oc was made to have extra fur or not really. But for what I've seen K9's usually look wonderful with the extra fur. It also depends on the scene as well if that makes sense. So some scenes like mafia commissions have a clean fur look. While other commissions have that messy fur that's longer since that what usually happens in most nsfw scenes. Anyway I know this is a long opinion but here's mine! 💜
