The whole 'If you kick a deer up the bum it's antlers fly off' has sent me down a mental rabbit hole. I now picture it as a form of combat. Deer 1 kicks Deer 2 up the bum. Deer 2's antlers fly off with a spring-loaded ptooo much to the amusement of Deer 1. Deer 2 then has to persuade Deer 3 to help click the antlers back into place before Deer 4-9 see & take the piss.
