The plumber’s just left. He couldn’t get all the work done yesterday. But as eyewateringly expensive as the job proved to be, it’s kind of a relief to get everything done at once. We’re getting him back next month to do some other stuff, because he was nice and unobtrusive, and did a good job. We’re never letting him go now.

Anyhoo... we were meant to be filming tomorrow, but our plans have changed, and we’re now filming on Sunday, when it’ll be sweltering. Hurrah! I LOVE the heat…

Also, we’re no longer filming in Melton Mowbray. Long story short – we’re going up to see the grandkids, and the day changed that we were seeing them… which meant we could only film Sunday. And the pork pie shops – our main reason for visiting - are closed on a Sunday. Weird.

BUT! The mother of invention and all that… in looking for a new location, we’ve come up with a new format/structure for Great British Days Out that fits into what we’re already doing, but is also distinct… It should be easily replicable and quick to put together, so that we can start getting videos out a bit more frequently. We’re actually really excited about it. It’s kind of what we’ve been searching for. You should get that next week. Or maybe it'll be the Q&A first.

We’re pencilling in the live stream/Zoom for everyone the week of the 14th July. We’ll keep you posted. July is another busy month for us alas – lots of birthdays, as well as a trip to Wales, hopefully, for the next big vid(s).

Anyway. Right. We’ll share some pics and that from our trip at the weekend, and we'll be doing a Patreon giveaway from it too.
