BACK ON THE ROAD

So. Back on track more or less. We've completely changed our schedule - cancelled some stays, and booked where we currently are for an extra day. And we're rethinking the filming schedule after the drama last night, and the fact that the footage we've already filmed is absurdly epic.

Overall, today has been a really good day - thanks to Sanja's biggest fan, Jerek, getting us back on the road. I mean, the whole trip has been good so far, barring a couple of hours last night. Jerek was one heck of a character, and I'm glad we met him. At one point we thought we'd get nothing filmed because we couldn't get rid of him.

"Tell me, do you have a boyfriend? I don't matter. You have one now."

I flashed my wedding ring.

"This does not matter in Poland."

But hey - he wanted to charge us a tenner for a whole new tire. Even with him attempting to pick up my wife, I was so grateful that I paid a lot more.

Today was Fat Thursday in Poland - and there were long queues outside of bakeries and donut shops. We engaged in the tradition by eating our bodyweight in stuff.
