I also learned - through trial-and-error - that calling numbers here from our UK phones is hit-and-miss... but works through WhatsApp, and that was the issue with being unable to get through to the damned emergency assistance line last night.
We've been recording Patreon videos during the trip, talking about the experience so far - and I'll try and get some uploaded in the next few days. We're going to reign in one ambitious part of our plan, but I think we're continuing with the rest. Trying to see this as part of the adventure.
Even without the burst tire, it has been one heck of an adventure. We spent most of yesterday underground.
