BEANUS LIVE: YOUR HELP NEEDED

Hello, gang. So! We’re trying to book Beanus Live for later this year, and… Harrow Arts is pretty much booked out. There’s a small chance we might be able to get it on the 13th September, but we won’t know until next week – as the bookings person is off sick.

So, we’re looking at other options. It’s complicated, because we know you all love hanging out with one another, and because we know most of you have to come quite a distance to be there.

One of the options is just around the corner from Harrow Arts. In fact… it’s my old high school! But that would have to be on the 30th August, which I appreciate – for those of you with kids – might not be perfect. It does, however, have space for socialising.

We’re also looking further afield – getting out of London entirely – and we’re also considering maybe doing two smaller shows back-to-back with a break inbetween (which is what Cheapshow did some years back).

If any of you know of anywhere and can help, please let me know.

So you know what we’re looking for:

We’re scaling down the number of tickets we intend to sell (either for one show or two) – so something in the region of 200-300.

Ideally it would have good transport links, a bar (though we can hire one in if needs be), and somewhere to socialise.

Though there’s always the option of hiring a room after and before if needs be (around Marillion events, that’s often what groups of fans do).

And we think we want to do it in September or November. October clashes with a Cheapshow thing.

Also, let us know if you don’t have an issue with August 30th.
