BEHIND-THE-SCENES OF DL2

Mmmmorning, all.

This week I'll try and get some sort of pre-order sorted out for those who missed out on the DVD tiers in the Digi Level 2 Kickstarter. You'll be able to order Digi Live 2, if you want to. The artwork for the covers is underway, so I should have that to show you soon. 

I've begun work on animating the title sequence for Drong's Challenge, and Jerden Cooke has written another stellar theme tune. I suspect we may aim to keep the momentum going and get that out sooner rather than later, though we will probably alternate between eps of that and main channel videos, so the release will be staggered. You might get some Let's Plays mixed in there too though.

Oddly, I think having a break from DL2 - albeit unintentional - did kind of help it in terms of giving me a breather and be able to come back to it with fresh eyes. 

We ARE going to have a crack at a crowdfunder for Digi Level 3 - though it won't be called that. I'm nervous, just because the landscape has changed so much in recent times, in terms of pulling everyone together, and the views of the series have dipped somewhat - our main channel gets way more views, for whatever reason. There's no way of knowing how much support we might get. But... it'll be our little secret, right? We're not setting our sights quite as high, and we've learned a lot in terms of what we can achieve - we just need to raise enough to be able to afford to take the time to make it. 

I'm very eager to build the set for the next one! If I can achieve what's in my head it'll be even more spectacular. We're good at making a little go a long way, but... grubby as it sounds... money buys us the time to do so. 

One thing I should say is that in terms of physical rewards, it won't be as full-on. Instead, we'll be looking more to give people things that are unique - experiences, or chances to be more involved, more sponsorship opportunities, maybe a screening - that sort of thing. The days we spent with backers were among our favourites making DL2, so we'll be aiming for stuff along those lines. 

Anyhow, we'll be doing some filming for the main channel this week. Just a quickie, before our next big challenge.
