NEW UPLOAD DAY! PLUS: GUESTS NEWS!

Happy Saturday, y’all.

Don’t normally post on a Saturday, but… I’ve decided we’re going to change Digi’s upload day to Sunday. Basically, it’s the best day for YouTube, apparently. Sunday was our original day back when we did Found Footage. We’ve been doing Sundays for Digi Level 2. So it just makes sense to get everything in line 

Plus, obviously, most people are off work, and our videos tend towards the big, so they’ll have more time to watch.

When we were doing the Digi Minis, I did choose Fridays originally, as I felt we could fill that vacant Barshens slot, and set everyone up for the weekend… but Gannon asked me to move it, as he felt we clashed with Cheapshow.

No idea why I chose Thursday instead of Sunday, but there you go. I have noticed that posting anything to social media on a Saturday is a complete black hole, while Sundays get tons of engagement.

So, going forward – starting tomorrow – it’s Sundays from now on, probably around lunchtime, to give the algorithm time to let it filter through before America wakes up. Obviously, we’ll still aim to get your videos early. 

I’ve got an absolute ton of deleted footage and outtakes from the last three videos that I need to upload for the upper tiers, and as I won’t be editing next week I’ll be able get that to you. There’s some good stuff in there. We may also do a Biffo’s Brain on Thursday.

My mum seems to be okay. Still in hospital to be on the safe side, and still batshit mental, but she’s not in any immediate danger, so should be able to catch up next week on things we’ve neglected. 

As I said the other day, there’s one more big video to come on the main channel, and then we’ll take a break of a couple of weeks to get Digi Level 2 finished.

 I think I’ve found a topic for the next main channel vid. We still intend to do smaller, lighter, videos going forwards – in the vein of Holme Fen and our Oxfordshire day out – but before the brief hiatus we wanted to leave everyone with another meaty subject. One that’ll have a longer shelf-life, hopefully.

So, yeah. It’s a big ‘un. I’m currently staring at 42 pages of notes, and a schedule that’ll take us from one end of the country to another, with some locations we can make the most of in our inimitable style. I mean, we bloody love doing this.

We’re also filming with a bunch of special guests on the 13th; Gannon, Octav1us, Ashens and Ryan from Barshens. Basically, we’re all hiring a haunted museum for an overnight visit. The video might not go out until Halloween, but for those of you missing us dicking around with others… you’ve got a motherlode of guests coming.
