EARLY ACCESS: THE OREGON TRAIL

Happy Monday!

This Let's Play thing wasn't meant to go on as long as it did, but if you've liked Sanja and I doing these then please enjoy this bumper edition. I'd never played The Oregon Trail before, but know it by reputation. We've loved doing these, and we're going to continue them even after Digi Level 2 ends, and once we're back to doing our regular videos.

Sorry again that we've been immersed in a mix of retro games, flu, and my mum being poorly, and not been able to get around to resuming our out-and-about vids. We're desperate to crack on, but at least BYAMPOD is back. Normal service is, gradually, being resumed.

This week should see us breaking the back of the next two Digi Level 2 eps, with finale filming scheduled for Saturday. Not entirely sure what's happening between now and then though. I want to do a Writer's Club Zoom on Thursday, so pencil it in, but it'll depend on outside forces.

I've got a bunch of work to catch up on, and my mum's due to come out of hospital imminently - with the maximum care package in place for at least the next six weeks. It'll be quite a change for her, but... it might mean we can all breathe a little more easily than we have for the past 18 months. We're still hoping she'll realise the best place for her is a nursing home. It's been a hard few weeks.

Aaaaaanyway... more soon. For now: enjoy us making the trek across America, accompanied by a whole lot of bonus waffle.

Comments

With regards to the woman washing herself in the water, Oregon's nickname is "The Beaver State". This may or may not be relevant.

Hi biffo if I can be of any help with emulation let me know. Probably the easiest route is getting retroarch and downloading this http://www.filedropper.com/system_1 which contains all the bios you need. You then unpack it into the systems folder in retroarch and then no worries around systems running with the correct bios oh and also as going through the video apparently Americans says erbs as they first had french cooks on TV who didn't pronounce the h so erb and the same as for gram for graham
