Zagreus historically has a difficult time getting to sleep, unless under VERY specific circumstances. Desperate to ensure his prince could get some rest (and desiring to sleep by his side, period), Thanatos resolves that he will meet any circumstance Zagreus needs to get much needed sleep.
Being in the warm, soft, gigantic arms of his twin brother, Hypnos, was not exactly what he expected. (And boy does he snore.)
