BACK IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING...

H’okay! We’re better. Finally. More or less. Thanks for bearing with us.

There’s a Biffo’s Brain Zoom happening tonight for those of you in that tier, and we’re aiming to get a new Let’s Play done tomorrow to go out on Sunday (you’ll all get it early), plus a Writer’s Club (if you’re signed up to that).

We’ve got that post-illness bounce where we’re sort of feeling superhuman, and raring to go, eager to do… lots of stuff.

No promises, but I suspect that we may even get back to BYAMPOD next week, and we MAY do a regular main channel Digi video this weekend. We have an idea that’s topical, so we sort of want to strike while the iron’s hot.

My mum’s still in hospital by the way. She’s sort of gone a bit… mental.

The doctors are perplexed, because her infection markers are down, and physically much better, but she’s essentially tripping balls. She’s having very vivid hallucinations, and not making a great deal of sense. We got to hear all about her trip to Holland the other night, and how she had to escape from the ship she was on, because a man called Michael kept shouting at her to get back into bed. I also had one of the docs ring me today to ask if she normally speaks to her handbag like it’s a dog…

She’s due to have an MRI at some point to see if there’s some bigger damage, but right now it’s just a case of waiting to see how it all progresses.

In all honesty, while her mental state is troubling… it’s just a relief her being in there, and not having to worry about her having a fall or burning her house down.

Back onto other things… we’ve had a new idea for the final episode of Digi Level 2 that will likely please some of you. Essentially, the episodes haven’t exactly exploded into a new audience, so we’re choosing to embrace the benefits of that, and the license it affords us, to do something with the Ep 6 that – as Sanja described it to me – is “very Digi”.

I shall say no more for now.
