SMELL IT...

Morning all.

Just keeping you in the loop with all the things and trying hard not to apologise again for the recent lack of regular content...  

If we're able, and we have any energy, we'll be filming something for Digi on Sunday. I can't guarantee it 100%, because as it currently is, if Sanja and I do anything for five minutes we then have to sit down for an hour to recover. But at the very least, I'd like to do a simple video for you lot, just saying hello. 

Yesterday, we still managed to get a big chunk of stuff done for Digi Level 2 and Digi Live - which are the main reasons we've found ourselves with so little extra time at the minute (suffice to say...  scheduling production on a Kickstarter project and two live shows simultaneously might've been a sliiiiiight miscalculation...).

In spits and spurts we managed to get the set for filming more or less 90% finished (bonus pic of current bunker door status below... I know you're probably sick of seeing it, but it's either this or pics of my grandson).

We also had quite a big meeting about Digi Live; how the two nights differ, how to ensure nobody feels like they're missing out on anything if they only come to one and not the other, while still keeping them unique, what the flow of the nights is, how we're utilising the guests... All that sort of thing. 

Both nights are different to the shows we've done before, and will also be quite different to one another. Of course, there are some familiar-ish elements, but we didn't want to simply repeat ourselves... while at the same time balancing it with giving audiences some of what they've enjoyed before - we will play a few 'greatest hits' (but not how you might expect...). 

We're also trying hard not to overload - and therefore overrun - this time, while still making the shows feel stuffed. We're well aware people need to catch trains and whatnot. We ended up dropping a massive part of the show last time... and STILL overran. So, no interval, no Cheapshow segment, keeping everything as tight and focused as we can, while still leaving room for the us to go off on unplanned tangents.

Friday will be a bit more relaxed and chatty, I think. There's more room for us to interact with the audience (it's when we're doing Show & Tell with YOUR items), so we'll be wafting among you.

People think we're idiots, but we do consider these things...!
