2022-07-18 07:58:08 +0000 UTCI'm kinda gutted that the weekends will drop to 2 nights. seems to me that this will just push more demand for the "proper" (PZ) weekend which always sells out, so that just equals more disappointed people. I'm planning a UK holiday next year, but not sure juggling a sidetrip to Netherlands is what i wanna spend my scant time in the UK doing...the mrs is already patient enough with my marillion obsession so it would be a big ask. So, hopefully i'll manage to be at Leicester (timing dependant)... failing that, i'll just have to make my holiday plans around some other live event.... like digi-live :-D

2022-07-18 03:29:56 +0000 UTCI have a Marillion playlist that I listen to while running and can't skip a track. The other day the sublime last part of Reprogram the Gene was followed by Most Toys. Unable to skip MT, I had to remove my headphones. The contrast between the genius of the former and the terribleness of the latter made me wonder how on earth MT ended up on an album.

I now feel we need an episode on the worst Marillion songs...Though you are not allowed to include Cathedral Wall (which is fab π) On Most Toys and its message - I thought Don Henley said it far better with the lyric 'you don't see no hearses with luggage racks'
