Just how long that same relationship was in that cycle and how early she had that gut feeling that they were going to crash and burn (yet they kept coming back together in a cycle)!! Give me a minute came out during COVID and it had such a emotional impact of me like no other media did at the time. The ep was recorded live and it hurts but it's beautiful

No other artist connects with the things I have gone through so deeply, she puts so many of the things I can't explain for myself into words and I so wish I could just sit and cry with this mf cause damn. It's such an honor to live in a timeline with such talented individuals, truly her music makes me feel like I'm going to burst in the most bittersweet, homey, way.

My mom died when I was about to turn 16; I just turned 19 2 weeks ago and I've found that you really do feel them everywhere. 2024-04-07 02:51:57 +0000 UTCIf I’m remembering correctly, some of the things the old producer wanted to remove was the woodwinds in All Falls Down, that one really loud part of All Falls Down, the long outro of Drunk Running, etc. The only good thing Lizzy mentioned about them is that he was the one who helped and encouraged her to finish writing Older.

That’s why she changed producers and they respected what she thought was best. One really funny detail is that, in the outro of Drunk Running, she added a voice memo from her ex.
