EARLY ACCESS: BYAMPOD Ep 73 - The Invisible Man

Ring the bells! We've started our Marbles coverage proper! With an entire episode dedicated to the epic that is The Invisible Man - a song which I argue might be Marillion's best. Of course, we go off at all sorts of tangents, and I reflect upon why Marbles chimed so well with me back in 2004...

EDIT: I've balanced the sound levels better. New version uploaded.

Yeah, I noticed this too. It's only happened in the past few days. DotCom and Anoraknophobia have also vanished. Some sort of licensing issue perhaps? Related to the Apple outage yesterday?

One thing I’ve noticed is Marbles has vanished off Apple Music. I’m curious if it’s happened on other streaming services too.

1. Thanks for the "good morning" Sanja. I listen in the morning, so i can only assume that was for me personally :-) 2. Please keep us updated on whether Sanjas spider bites have subsequently evolved into any web-slinging, wall climbing action. 3. About Marbles being "cinematic"... Marbles definitely, but pretty much all Marillion albums, i find them all very "movie-like" - with a new layer of the story unfolding with each listen. I'd quite happily sit down just to listen to music (in place of putting on a movie)....something my better half *still* doesnt really understand!

Hurrah! Thanks, Karl. We're very happy to be able to say positive stuff now we're way past the Castle Years.

Paul, Sanja, I think that's one of your best episodes. And I agree, I think not only is it their best song, but it's one of The Best Songs in the prog cannon.

Karl Wilding

Noted. Thanks, Christopher. Probably a side-effect of putting the music in. I'll get a better levelled version up on here tomorrow.

The volume on this one is a little bit lower than normal Biffo. Any chance you’d be able to tweak it up a bit when you post it publicly? Although the clip of Invisible Man is considerably louder so it might blow people’s ears off.
