EARLY ACCESS: DIGI LIVE DEBRIEF!

Morning, all. Here's this week's Digi video. I had hoped to put this up for everyone over the weekend, but somehow Sanja and I have barely had five minutes to catch our breath since Digi Live. It has been relentless, and we're both hugely behind on things.

We'll get back to proper videos soon - we just need five minutes to gather ourselves!

EARLY ACCESS: DIGI LIVE DEBRIEF!

Comments

I’d just like to state emphatically that, as a huge CheapShow fan, I absolutely love when you’re on the show Biffo! I discovered you through them and love your content as much. Feel confident that there are plenty of fans on your side, it’s just that the vocal majority tend to be negative as that’s what the internet allows anonymous people to do.

Christopher Clayton

I'd love to see a live Mr. Biffo talk show, I'd be at the Manchester gig like a shot. I'd watch Beanus live too, though I feel like it would awaken the Deadhead in me and I'd want to follow you from town to town to see all the different ways it shakes out. I really, really want one of these days to get up the nerve to hang out and say hello

Sedric And Charlie

The regional thing would be good, due to caring duties i can't do overnight travel. I would attend anything you did up here in Manchester.

Darren Cox

A relaxed weekend event would be lovely, especially if it had a few "drop in and exhibit" things like Chunky Fringe around the edges. Although it would feel a bit weird going to something that requires an overnight stay without leaving London. I'd have to establish a stronghold in the car park, foraging around Hatch End for subsistence, eventually establishing rudimentary agriculture and extending the back of my estate car into fortifications from which we could conduct a series of raids against the surrounding areas, and claim Pinner and Harrow for the Independent Republic Of Digitiser. Or I guess there's the Travelodge. That "someone to bounce off" thing is something I really feel when trying to do something entertaining solo, especially if it's largely ad-libbed. I find it's much easier to end up with things feeling forced and fake, or to get a thread that is clearly going nowhere and you don't have anyone who can help redirect it or change the subject unless you play a character who's always getting annoyed at themselves. Plus once I've been talking for a couple of minutes I'm usually off on some irrelevant sidetrack with no idea where I started, although that one is probably a me thing. Oh, and as for what people come to the live show for... I was there for Found Footage. (A statement only partly in jest, it genuinely is one of my favourite things you've done)

Matt Kimber (Timberwolf)

Among the definitions of a fan are "an instrument that produces a current of air" and "a gently sloping fan-shaped body of detritus." I'd say that sums most of us up really well. Seriously though, fans are what we are. You should both be rightly happy and comfortable with that. Just don't tell Beanus. His ego is out of control as it is. A low key tour gets a big thumbs up from me.

Simon Lee Tranter

Very much up for the tour, and an additional Beanus tour too if you can manage it. Somewhat surprisingly, my partner would come to these.

Chris Smith

Can I just say that yes I want a beanus tour, especially if you make it to Scotland.

Kyle Rowe

That was good video. I enjoyed Sexy Christmas and the Found Footage bits!

WhatHoSnorkers

Sexy Christmas USA was amazing, from us in the audience you did not look like you had bottled it. I was crying laughing.

Steph Allman

Count me in for a tour or the next Digi live. Sadly had to miss this one.
