DIGI IN THE TIME OF COVID
Added 2021-06-01 10:07:38 +0000 UTCHello gang. Thanks for supporting us for another month! You da best.
As you might've seen over on Twitter... Sanja and I have Covid. It's every bit as rotten as they say, so it's touch and go whether I'll get a Digi edited this week. If I wake up tomorrow feeling semi-human, there will be one - it's partly edited already - I'm just not well enough today.
I know I owe the top tier some exclusive stuff too, but bear with me. This wasn't part of the plan! Especially as both of us have had our first jab.
What I can tell you is this: DON'T GET COVID. Trust me. It's really bloody awful. Stay careful. It isn't quite like anything else I've had before. I've had a couple of really bad bouts of flu, but this is different. What's really odd, is that the four of us here who have it all seem to have slightly different symptoms. My worst one - high temperature and fever aside - is an absolutely killer sore throat. I didn't even know that was a thing you could get with Covid.
I actually woke up feeling slightly more clear-headed today than I did yesterday, but my temperature was the highest it has been, so it seems to change every day. Obviously having never had it before, we don't have anything to compare it to.
Anyhow. Stay healthy. I'll check in tomorrow.
Paul

2021-06-09 19:57:08 +0000 UTCI found that the fatigue dragged on a fair while after Iβd recovered from the main symptoms. Donβt push yourself. π

2021-06-01 16:23:16 +0000 UTCJust rest and look after yourselves. I had covid early on, it's horrible and really takes it out of you. Your health is the most important thing, we will still be here once yours back to normal.

2021-06-01 16:19:03 +0000 UTCSounds rough. All the best to you and yours.
2021-06-01 13:51:04 +0000 UTCThey do say you're only as old as the semi-human you're feeling. More important both you guys well first. Covid is worse than wind-malaria then?

2021-06-01 13:09:22 +0000 UTCYeah, as pretty much everybody else has said, videos are a much lower priority than your and Sanja's health, so let me join in with wishing you both a speedy recovery, and we'll see you when you're all good.

2021-06-01 12:49:51 +0000 UTCHope youβre all better soon. Donβt rush into doing anything youβre not up to for us. Weβre cool. (Arrogantly speaking for all of us there!)

2021-06-01 12:21:20 +0000 UTCArgh! Get well soon all of you. Me and my sons had it in January and all had different symptoms. One of my sons appears to have long covid, as he still has no smell or taste.

2021-06-01 11:22:26 +0000 UTCAdvice, advice, advice .... You must be sick of it. Here is some more ... Dont physical exert yourself to the point of being "tired". This is true with all viruses, but there is reason to think it is more of a risk with covid. I'm really not going to tell you what to do, but I would love to see a message saying, "dont expect ANY content over the next two weeks (should be a month) , but I may do something it if I feel up to it". In the next few days you will both feel better, but even then the advice stands, don't exert yourself to the point of being tired

2021-06-01 10:27:49 +0000 UTCHope you're better soon, I'm quite worried about getting it as I'm working at a cinema with people from all over coming in so my chances are higher of getting it π¬

2021-06-01 10:24:44 +0000 UTCHoping for full & speedy recoveries all round - got a text from the nhs yesterday telling me that Iβm now in a high-risk area (not heard this anywhere else, so thatβs nice) so my 2nd jabβs been rushed forward to this Friday.
