CHANNEL UPDATE - AND WELCOME!

Morning, everyone. Firstly... hello to the new Patrons. No idea where you're all coming from, or what made so many of you decide to sign up all of a sudden... but man... coupled to all the lovely comments on the latest Digi video, I feel a bit emosh today.

I've currently got three Patreon-exclusive videos waiting to be edited. 

Sorry I've not gotten them to you yet, but I've had a manic week, looking after Sanja, and then yesterday I was just rushed off my feet (had to take my dad for his 2nd vaccine, then take him shopping, then I had to get my 1st vaccine, then get our shopping... then take my dad's car back to him and blah blah). I'll try and get at least one of them up for you over the weekend, depending on whether any vaccine side-effects kick-in, and how long it takes to record the next ep of BYAMPOD. No adverse effects yet, btw, apart from a bit of head pressure last night. 

Also, I've got something very special on the way for the top tier Patrons; when we filmed Digi Deluxe last year, there was one episode we never released. It was basically a spoof of Dragon's Den, with myself and the excellent Chris Bullock as the dragons. We filmed it right at the end of the day, and it ended up being a bit rushed, the cameras were out of focus, and shoddy... I always hoped to salvage it one day, but then I had a hard drive die on me, and I thought the footage was lost.

And... it still is! But Chris has taken it upon herself to edit the audio. So, some of you will, in the not-too-distant, be getting an audio-only version of Digitiser Deluxe, featuring me, Chris, Ash Frith, Gannon and Eli. 

Anyhow... between the new Patreon sign-ups, all the positive comments, Digi Live ticket sales, and whatnot... it sort of confirms something that Sanja and I have been sensing for a while, that Digi has finally found its own audience. That audience had been so obscured by the seemingly never-ending shockwaves from Digitiser The Show, and it means everything to us that we're finally seeing you all again. Hello! <WAVES>

And thank you for supporting me. It really, really helps, and I hope we can keep rewarding your generosity and faith in us. 

Anyhow... now that life looks like it might be returning to some semblance of the Before-Times again... we're properly planning the next few months of the channel. We've booked the studio for some Digitiser Deluxe filming at the end of May, when we're allowed to get together indoors with up to six people. We'll be trying out some Digi Live ideas, including the Beanus game show. 

The full complement of guests will be revealed in time, but I can tell you exclusively, that Gannon and Eli will be back, of course, and the brilliant Paul Putner has also agreed to be part of it. Which is excellent. 

We're also planning some more Supernatural World, including UFO hunting in the Norwich area (anyone know of any friends of the channel who live round there, hmmm...?), plus big cat/ape man hunting, which Sooz Kempner is coming along for. Apparently, Digi is one of only two channels her mum watches, bizarrely (the other being Barry Lewis).

And, of course, more regular eps as soon as Sanja is up to it. Frankly, we've got more ideas than we know what to do with at the moment.  And of course, for those of you here for BYAMPOD... there's plenty more of that in the pipeline. We will try and do some exclusive BYAMPOD content for you at least once a month.

Might as well make the most of being able to do all things Digi full time.
