So... just as well I have a BYAMPOD exclusive to share! This is an ep Sanja and I recorded a couple of weeks back, discussing the results of the Marillion Christmas Poll. We thought it was one of the funniest eps we've done... and then when we listened back, we realised that when the sound recorder got dropped before recording,
I'd accidentally switched it to the internal mic. Consequence: tinny, echoey sound. I was never going to put this out as part of the main run, but this is the perfect place for it.
It's completely un-edited - so you get all the pauses and disrespectful humour that I often cut out of the main eps - but it'll give you a glimpse behind the scenes!
Apologies to the brilliant HippyDave, who runs the Christmas Poll, for forgetting it was him that does it... GAH!

Only going back and listening to these bonus episodes now. Apologies for making Sanja sink down in her chair after I questioned anybody liking Lords Of The Backstage - if people knew the rubbish that I listened to and enjoyed, I'd be forever trapped down the back of the sofa along with lint, pennies, and forgotten polo mints.

2021-06-18 19:46:55 +0000 UTCSaw the band play Circular Ride on an Xmas gig in Manchester. It was a great performance and went down well with the audience. I love the song as well as Say The Word, perhaps we'll get performances when they play Somewhere Else at the next MWs (assuming they play that album).
