Once again finishing with Albert Bierstadt. What a painting this is, and as you can see, I took extra time with this one.
This whole challenge is maybe too much fun for me, but hopefully I did learn something too.
But for now I really have to call it a year when it comes to studies, I have a lot of work to do now before my January time off, and we'll do more studies next year, as soon as possible.
I hope you liked seeing me do all this and thank you so much for the support!

Albert Bierstadt.
This was probably the most challenging one to study, so much of the overall look is in the detail, subtle changes in color hue or saturation... But I think I got the gist of it in a reasonable time frame for a study.

Update of a painting I did in 2020.
The style I'm going for in my art is "More is more" and that, naturally, is really hard to figure out and balance. I've done around 200 studies since painting the original and I only improved enough to make this "ok". At least I managed to add more value to the original time investment with just a few more work hours. Otherwise the original would have remained an outdated passion project that's kinda not good enough to post anymore.
I hope you ...
