NEWS: UPDATE!
Added 2021-03-20 09:16:33 +0000 UTCHello, all. You'll be glad to know I'm feeling a whole lot better. I just needed a day or two to de-stress a bit. So, we'll be back to normal/abnormal service next week, I think.
I was wondering... are any of you interested in me putting mine and Sanja's podcast up on here early? I know at least a few of the Digi crowd listen to it - even if you don't like Marillion, I think there's enough of our usual rambling and silliness in there. If there's not much interest, I shan't bother, but I thought it could be another perk for top tier folk.
Also, so you know where your Patreon money is going... I just bought a whole bunch of new gear. I got some new mics for the podcast, and some wireless lavalier mics for when we're filming (especially on-location stuff, which we should be able to do again soon). I confess, I get a bit intimidated by tech. I just want to be able to be spontaneous, and the more gear we use, and the more set-up there is, can sometimes get in the way for me. But I thought that this was at least some equipment that might broaden what we can do video-wise.
So anyway... next week we're planning to film a couple of eps... one of which will be an Easter special, of sorts, featuring Third Bird. Because: eggs. If we're lucky, we might be able to fit some location filming in with Gannon, pre-Easter, once Lockdown eases. If so, we'll get that into the episode too.
Also... I've not been entirely idle in my convalescence. Hopefully some of you saw the Funny Dancers video I shared on Twitter and Facebook. I can tell you... I've also been animating something new for Digi Live. Really, really, really hope it goes ahead...

2021-03-20 16:36:58 +0000 UTCYep would be happy to have the podcast up early. Donβt feel you need to knock yourselves out to make more BYAMPOD Patreon exclusive stuff though, it would be gratefully received but youβre both already doing a lot of prep and research for each episode.

2021-03-20 09:38:04 +0000 UTCGlad to see you're feeling better! It's amazing how sometimes just taking a day or two off to really recharge can help! I'd definitely be interested in seeing the Podcast be up a bit early. I'm absolutely loving it so far, learned a lot more about a band that in recent years has shot up to my top five. It's been a great journey so far, so perhaps a touch selfish but the earlier the better for me :P Looking forward to seeing what is to come, especially that Easter special :) Also, totally get where you're coming from about tech. I have that with certain types of tech. It happens to me for guitar, I have no idea really how to work my amp or anything like that, I just enjoy playing the instrument. Also similar to me for my Youtube stuff, I don't do anything to complex, I just try to keep my stuff chill but I'm at a point where I do want to upgrade to a new camera and get a new mic but I have no clue about any of it. :D
