In other news... if you're coming to Digitiser Live...
You've probably seen that the tickets have sold rather well, which is gratifying. It never ceases to amaze me that, while Digi might not be the biggest gaming website or YouTube channel, we must have one of the most loyal and passionate audiences going. I'm a very lucky boy. So, thank you. You give me the opportunity to do things that a few years ago I could never have imagined doing.
We've still to hear from some of the Kickstarter backers, but we already appear to have a very healthy attendance, which means we're scaling up our original plans, and putting on a proper show.
Without wanting to give away too many spoilers, we're batting around various ideas for segments. We know how the show is going to open... and we think we know how it's going to end. And we've got some bits sorted that'll be happening in the middle. And we've got at least one of our special guests confirmed (NOT a YouTuber and NOT anyone who was on Digitiser The Show). And yes - Fat Sow will be there.
We've actually got more ideas than we can fit into two hours, which - at least - bodes well for Series 2 of Digi.
What's really odd for me is that Harrow Arts Centre, where the show is happening, is about 2 minutes walk from my old school. The last time I put on a show, and appeared in it, was 1987, on my very last day there.
While I didn't quite follow the path of being a performer there's a degree of, I dunno, appropriateness that it's happening so close to where I last trod the boards (as my fellow professional thespians and I like to say).
