Why were games back in the 8 bit era so incredibly difficult? Were the developers sadists or have I just become crap and impatient now I'm older?

1, How is Almost Never doing? How's your experience been creating and working on it? 2, Assuming you watch other kids' TV programmes, what do you rate at the moment, e.g. on CBBC? My kids like the current series of The Worst Witch. They have not, unfortunately, seen the one you worked on back in the day.

I'll try and ask fewer questions than last time... 1) If you could combine any two games/gaming universes into one mega game/gaming universe, which would it be and why? (For me, it'd be Mario and Portal). 2) What're your favourite memories from filming Digitiser that didn't make it into the final cut or happened off-camera? 3) What question do you wish people WOULD ask you in this sort of situation, and what's the answer to that question? 4) What lie do you tell the most often? I'll ask two questions, one might have been answered so many times that you're bored of it! To all: Earliest gaming memory? Then the second, again to all: if you had to inhabit any game world, which one would it be? A game based in reality on Earth isn't allowed for obvious reasons!
