Fortunately, there is a light at the end of the tunnel as far as my monetary woes go. I've been given a date for when I'll be paid for one of the jobs... and I kicked a bit of bottom yesterday about the lack of a contract for the other job (which I'm already several months into) - and, lo and behold, that arrived today.
So... it looks like we'll be able to afford Christmas, even if it's all a bit last-minute. Your donations will help massively though. I'm not normally quite as hard-up as this - but the double-whammy of Found Footage costing more than anticipated, and the delays in my freelance work, were a bit of a perfect storm.
Anyway, yes. Just wanted you to know that your money isn't being wasted on frivolity.
