Hello all. Once in a while I start something on Digitiser2000 that I never quite finish. This week I started writing a thing featuring Chewbacca's brother, "Peelbacca", to tie in with yesterday's Star Wars articles. I abandoned it because it wasn't really working for me. But... I thought some of you might like to see an extract from what I deign not good enough. This is one of those things. Here you go: "Rrrrrowl? Hello, everyone. I'm Peelbacca. You probably remember my brother, Chewbacca. He was the big hairy guy in Star Wars. No, no - the other one. "Not many of you know this, but we both auditioned for the role of Han Solo's assistant/lover. However, I failed my audition because I brought a meat pie along with me, and kept grooming the top of it with a hairbrush. When they cut my audition short (apparently, my behaviour "creeped" them out) I just stared at the casting director, and pushed my big, hairy fingers through the crust. It was well reem."
