I suspect that sooner than most expect, the gods will demand protections for people to prevent them from being exploited. Brin might see the "Union Head" class in his lifetime.

And Since A typewriters are: "Guaranteed 100% mechanical. No magical materials and no Skill enchantments." And that in turn would make using typewriters letters to make portraits containing poems a largely "non-Skills" based compilation. Just set 3-4 base type writing strips to use. Whit letter blocks that can be swapped on action. And You got high classes snoopers, flex game right there. Heck it's would also be no direct financial benefits for thous who Master it, while taking some "base stool" and making art form it. And Thous where historically thing Nobels practice to impress each other.
