Added 2021-12-14 23:20:04 +0000 UTCYeah so originally, as many of you know, I wasn't supposed to look like Chups and she was just supposed to be my co-host. I went through a lot of ideas before becoming what I am now. Demelza Rougemont was one of the characters I considered voicing before I just ended up deciding to be another Chups. I went through a few ideas. Being Demi would kinda be weird tho, I'm glad I didn't do it. This is definitely a design that needs the voice of a depressed female.
If you're wondering whats up with the hand on the chain, her concept was supposed to be based on "The Monkey's Paw" by W. W. Jacobs. Good ass story. She was supposed to have the power to grant wishes in fucked up ways and shit, but I ended up scrapping the whole "she has a magic power" thing because it was gay and she worked better as just some emo chick who hangs out with drug dealers and demons.
Also look at the Chups hair all curved and shit lol. I was experimenting.
If anyone's familiar with my older work (namely the comics), you'll know Demi was Chups's little buddy who would hang out with her and smoke ciggies and be depressed and shit. Her whole shtick was having hope for the world that was easily shattered by a Chups line. I still like her design but I don't think I'll use it for much unless I bring the comics back (which I might). Idk. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
