Also! In the manga they do in fact go over a bit more in depth to what happened to them all afterwards! Hirokuni goes to work (remotely from home) with Kaneko and has a much healthier work life balance, and Kai works as a chef at a Japanese bar (it's stated that the old man did intend to have him take over the restaurant once he's gone, so he'll probably inherit it one day.) The young guy who left (Sakamoto) was convinced to come back because their boss got in huge trouble for driving two skilled people to quit in such short succession. The office is a lot more chill and healthy now!
