Quick Dev Update!

Hey everyone, just a small progress update.
Yesterday I spent pretty much the whole day fixing bugs, but good news - today no new ones have been reported, so I think we’re finally in the green with the major stuff :D

Most of my work lately has been on the technical side. I figured out a way to basically make my own templates, which will make things so much easier going forward. I won’t bore you with coding details, but here’s the new Chapter 6 UI system in action:

This setup has a bunch of advantages (especially for me as the one building it). You can now directly see in the dialog box what’s spoken and what’s thought. On top of that, the background color will change depending on the character’s POV, so I can skip those extra POV transition effects.

And the best part - if I ever decide to tweak the design again, I can update it across every passage at once, instead of manually editing each one. Of course, that means I now need to go back and rework the older passages to use this new system (again cough ^^°) … so some busy days ahead. But once it’s all done, it’ll make future work a lot smoother.

Once I finish updating the older content, I’ll reupload a new prebuild for you all to check out.
