Mirror Walkers preview: Hex crawlin'

Hey, patrons. Wanted to update you with what we've been working on here, particularly in regard to the mapping system for the current CRUX Elemental project.

The Mirror Walkers scenario will utilize a hex crawl, with five maps taking your characters from d4 to d10 (so essentially an entire campaign). Rather than have the map cells established (except for a handful of scripted locations), most cells will be generated by draws from a standard deck of playing cards. This is done by the GM alone, or you could do it as a group (especially if the GM is confident with world building on the fly).

This system will ensure that no two trips through the City of Stairs and Doors are the same. Also, once the players have (hopefully) liberated the city from the malevolent forces of Moht, your party can reclaim the region as a base of operations, helping to build it into a proper hub-world and using it as a spring-board for further adventures into the Multiverse, and you'll have a unique world map instanced to your playthrough.

More soon, including some new handy mutant miniatures to populate the game world, not to mention a bunch of terrain and the new PT set. Also, if you haven't already, be sure and drop an entry or three into the character contest!
