Anyway, this week I did some more with the side project, namely, gave it a graphical update, programmed some AI for the nanny enemies, added in health items, added in secret walls, and added in floor traps!
So far, the game is becoming less and less like Chip's Challenge with spanking and is turning more into a spanking-roguelite, which I'm cool with making as well. I don't think we've seen any of either of those things so far, so I'm more than happy to blaze this trail!
DOAS progress was mostly tweaking and playtesting existing events to try to work out all the kinks (get it?) which is going well, but is pretty uninteresting to talk about. Next week, I'm thinking of beginning the first new tutorial series, most likely with finite state machines!
