They've (the Historic Ship Nautilus CO and crew) been doing a really cool video series on their FB page - behind the scenes of Nautilus today and talking about the history. They just posted that even though she is decommissioned and de fueled, there is still enough classified equipment, etc. in the engineering spaces that they are still off limits.

I would assume so. Bit disconcerting to think I was mere feet away from a humming nuclear reactor so many times in my childhood. 😬

I caught that too. But everything I can see says the reactor was removed during decommissioning.
