Update on The Cup of Aces Tournament

I have some unfortunate news for the Tournament. I'll have to put the Cup of Aces on hiatus.

A couple of things here are holding back the tournament.

Finances. Paying for tournament organizers, paying for prizing, paying for editing of the tournament, paying for shipping the prizing out if necessary, this is a pretty big portion of the reason. It pretty much removes the reason for the patreon, to help fund my path as a content creator.

Patreon subscriptions. I believe a lot of folks here are not here for the tournament (some of you are and for that I'm REALLY grateful, so I'm sorry to you all for putting this on hiatus) and so since most people are here just to support me, it's not beneficial to keep running the tournament since not many folks here want that style of content, especially nonpatrons (if nonpatrons don't want it, it means less people coming in on the patreon for that content).

Channel commitment. I'll be frank, most people don't come to my content to see tournaments, and I'd have to post much more competitive content to see more growth on that end. They come to see my jokes, fun, entertainment, and I love doing that. But I get that most people aren't going to watch my tournament. So this ends up tanking my channel stats, which I'd be okay with if I was passionate about it, unfortunately it's just causing more stress than it is enjoyment, otherwise I'd do it. For example, unglued is hard work for me, but I LOVE it, it's worth every second I do it.

I think if I see a larger amount of people subscribe to the patreon, more of a bigger swing in income and people coming into the channel, I can definitely bring it back with more help and less of a burden on my stress, but for now I'll put a pause. (Don't worry about prizing, I'm still sending this out, just haven't been able to get these out yet, I have my custom field centers coming soon!)
