Added 2024-04-08 12:36:29 +0000 UTCHeya folks! We're back with another update! It's been a slow one this month, but we're chewing through the bugs that are cropping up around the Brothel. Thanks again for everyone's reports, they've helped immensely in tracking them down!
In other news, I'm trialing a new feature I'd like to get your feedback on. Camcorder hints! You can now unlock hints by completing various quests in the Haunted Brothel! These hints will be available to view in the scene-replay gallery for each cutscene you've yet to unlock. I'm hoping this will help with some of the more difficult-to-locate scenes in the game.
I've also compiled an Android build for the latest content, however I did not have the time to do a thorough pass on Android-specific bugs, so this update is still very much a beta. The reason for me rushing out an Android build is due to my fear that an upcoming hiatus will delay an update to the Android version for too long... Speaking of which!
So far, the scheduling change has been helpful for development! I'm confident in continuing with it as it is. Unfortunately I feel as if I've begun to burn myself out a bit, and I'm worried about that impacting my ability to develop the Haunted Brothel. Due to this, I'll be taking a short hiatus for the next month (possibly two) and disabling payments while I'm away. Sorry for the delay to more updates, but I think it's the best thing to do for my mental health at the moment.
