July 27th 2018: Progress Report

It's already been almost a week since my last post, and time is just flying by right now. So, here's what I've been up to since the last post.

Sachinama and I are still in the early planning stages of developing the game. Sachinama is in charge of writing the story, doing the art, laying out the map, and I am in charge of the game systems and mechanics, game balance, and of course, translating everything to English later. For now, my time has been split between working on trying to implement the game mechanics and systems that I want into the game, and collaborating with Sachinama to discuss the foundation of the story and characters. Like the premise of the various story elements, background story of the world, etc. Yeah, like I said we're still in the very early stages of planning. We've discussed a lot together, and there's still much, much more left to discuss and work out together. And it's been really fun mashing ideas with Sachinama, and we hope you guys will appreciate the results when the game is finished!

In meantime, after a lot of trials and errors, especially errors, I've managed to implement one of the systems that I wanted yesterday. I'll talk about the gameplay systems that I'm implementing in separate Patron-only posts. Look forward to them!
